OFFICIAL RULES
No purchase necessary to win. Purchase of any kind will not increase chances of winning, and the odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of entries received. Do not enter this giveaway if you are under the age of 18. To participate you must be a legal resident of the United States, the District of Columbia. This giveaway is not associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta.
Contest Period. The Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. PST on Monday, September 5, 2022, and officially ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on September 30, 2022 ("Entry Period"). Entries received after the giveaway period will not be considered.
The Contest consists of one winner chosen from all eligible entries received during the giveaway period listed above.
Sponsor. The Sponsor of the Contest is Doing Italy, LLC.
How to Enter the Contest.
Conditions. To enter, you must be a member of the Doing Italy – Move to Italy Masterclass/Mastercourse. To enter, fill out the Doing Italy excel file sheet provided in the masterclass/mastercourse with the estimated expected cost of living in ONE (1) of the following Italian cities (Florence, Syracuse, OR Pogliano a Mare); and assume an annual pre-tax income of €100,000 OR € 200,000. You may include (this is optional and does not increase chances of winning), an adjusted taxable income depending on potential tax incentives, including those available to freelancers and people relocating to Italy.
One entry per person. Entry into this Contest does not constitute entry into any other promotion, sweepstake, contest, or giveaways. By participating, you unconditionally agree to comply with these rules.
Drawing. To enter the contest send the filled out excel file by email to assistance@doingitalty.com within the Contest dates.
The winner will be chosen by the Doing Italy Team. The winner will be announced by October 7, 2022. The winner will be contacted via the e-mail address used to submit entry and/or the email submitted upon registering for the Doing Italy - Move to Italy Masterclass/Mastercourse. If the winner declines the prize or fails to respond within 48 hours of our effort to contact them, Doing Italy may select another winner and/or the prize may be forfeited. In case of a dispute claiming the prize, the winner is the person to whom the e-mail account is registered.
• The Contest prize is a one-hour consultation with a chartered tax accountant
Consultation will be conducted via the telephone or a digital platform like zoom. It is up to the discretion of Doing Italy, LLC to choose which professional(s) will be providing the service. The Prize must be redeemed by October 7, 2023. Prize is not redeemable for cash.
Agreement to Official Rules. Participation in the Contest constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and Sponsor's Privacy Policy at Doingitaly.com and to be contacted by telephone and/or email. Sponsor reserves any and all rights to solely interpret and administer these Official Rules which shall be final and each Entrant agrees to abide by all Sponsor decisions regarding this Sweepstakes. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern, and control.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS: By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants release and agree to hold harmless Sponsor, Doing Italy, LLC, the Administrator and their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising/promotion agencies and such companies’ officers, directors, employees and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action and any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from, this Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, receipt or use/misuse of the Prize. As a condition to entering the Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees that: under no circumstances will the Entrants or Winner be permitted to obtain any award for, and the Entrants and Winner hereby waive all rights to any claim(s), punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages whatsoever, including attorneys’ fees. All causes of action will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. In no event will any Entrant or Winner be entitled to rescind this agreement or seek injunctive or any other equitable remedy.
The Released Parties assume no responsibility for lost, late, mutilated, illegible, incomplete or misdirected entries, or for any error, human, technical or otherwise, which may occur in the processing of Sweepstakes entries, administration of the Sweepstakes or the announcement of the Prize/Winner including, without limitation, any technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, including http://www.doingitaly.com/, https://doingitaly.mykajabi.com/ any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to Entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Sweepstakes.
The Released Parties shall not be responsible for Acts of God, government or government agency action or inaction, acts of terrorism, civil unrest or disturbances, riots, work stoppage delays, postponements, inclement weather, rescheduling or any other natural disasters outside its respective control.
Disputes. Entrants and Winner agree that any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes and the Prizes awarded shall be resolved solely by Sponsor, shall be final and binding, and without resort to any form of class action.
The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, excluding conflicts of laws principles. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants in the Sweepstakes hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of Florida courts (state and federal) in Miami Dade County for any causes or controversies arising out of the Sweepstakes. Winner waives any and all objections to jurisdiction and venue in these courts.
Publicity. Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the Prize, Winner grants to Sponsor and their respective advertising agencies the right to use and publish Winner's photo, image, name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, video image and audio, and/or other indicia of persona and city and state of residence in any media to promote the Sweepstakes or similar sweepstakes or contests without additional compensation.
Use of Data. Sponsor may be collecting personal data about Entrants including, without limitation, complete name, zip code, email address, and daytime phone number (including area code) of the Entrants and/or Winner. Sponsor are entitled to use personal data contained in all entries in accordance with the Sponsor's privacy policy. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants hereby agree to all personal information uses and disclaimers as explained in Sponsor's Privacy Policy located at Doingitaly.com. Please click on the provided link to read and review our Privacy Statement here. Each Entrant agrees that Sponsor, or its designee, has the right to contact Entrant by telephone, email or regular mail. Entrant may opt-out of receiving future communications as set forth in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy or as provided within any such marketing materials (e.g., using the “Unsubscribe” feature provided in the footer of Sponsor’s emails).
General Conditions. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes for any reason, including, but not limited to, if fraud or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes or Sponsor’s ability to award Prize as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If, in Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to void any entries at issue (including disqualifying any individual who tampers or otherwise interferes with the entry process or the integrity of the Sweepstakes), and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. In the event of such cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to award Prize(s) in a random drawing from all eligible entries received before the time of cancellation.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SPONSOR ALSO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY ANY ENTRANT.
Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision.
